This past week has been monumental in a few ways. First, revolution had it's highest attendance for a regular weekend. We had 222! It's very exciting to see God use students to reach their friends. We are doing a series entitled "Seven Deadly Sins" and we are seeing fruit from that! This weekend is about lust...but since teenagers don't really struggle with lust...yeah, whatever!I'm really stoked about what God is doing!

Second, I was reminded this week of the reality of spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12 is more real to me now than it ever has been. Pray for those who are lost and misguided and seek to fill the "God void" in their life with "other" forms of spirituality. I've never been more ardently passionate about reaching students for Jesus...it's a battle and we are right in the middle of it. We are truly a light in a very dark place.

Third, my next door neighbor's house was broken into last night while they were home. It ended peacefully with the perpetrator in the patrol car. Thank God for his protection of that family. I hear it on the news all the time, but you just don't think...

Anyway...believe it or not I see God's glory at work in all of these situations. We are never to trust our own strength, provisions or means. It truly all belongs to Christ; WE belong to Christ. It is not by our skills or talents or wisdom that we move forward, it is the power of God. "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" Amen!
