Jen and I are on our way to Boston from Pennsylvania. We're headed to a wedding a visiting some family and friends along the way. We flew into DC and started our journey from there...
Clearly, the topography is really different here, it's beautiful as well. I also can't help but notice the amount of churches here either. At one point on top of a hill, I could see 4 church steeples within 2 miles of each other. At another location, I counted 5 churches in a row, literally just down the street from each other.
Some thoughts came through my mind.
1. "God, please raise up Godly people so those churches will be effective for your kingdom."
2. Why are they so close together?
3. Do they work together?
Some other not so thought provoking truths about this area are things like "dial up" only internet (for real!??) and the amount of road kill.
Very cosmopolitan.
