just so you know...

I thought I would update as to what's happening with Mississippi.

We are getting geared up to leave Sunday at 6am. Our team looks pretty strong. Our job lists look like this as of right now. (they could change) Two homes will be new builds, which means the foundation is laid and we start building walls and so on. We have a job painting a house and a job drywalling a house. Our teams will have their hands full for sure.

Our drive is roughly 14 hours. We have some good safe drivers.

Pray for the people we will encounter and interact with during our time. Pray for our students and leaders to develop the heart of a servant. We definitely go on these trips to impact the lives of others, but those who have gone know they are probably impacted more so. I pray that is true of this trip.

Pray for our leaders...some of them are sick. Pray for safety and all the things we can't even foresee now.

I'm excited. A mission trip changed my life and I have seen it change the lives of many others. If you haven't gone a mission trip yet, you should. Whether your 15 or 85, you should go. It will change your life!
