WiFi is important

Well...i've missed a few days. I had no internet signal and couldn't keep up to date. Even now my team will assembling post-haste, so I'll drop a couple nuggets of info for some entertainment value.

1. I can drive a 32 foot RV with confidence now.
2. People scare me when they smoke a cigarette over a pool of gasoline.
3. It's ok to score guns in your shed in Mississippi.
4. Many women here don't fear Black Widows like they should.
5. Grits aren't really any better with cheese on them.
6. Chocolate gravy could really by chocolate syrup in disguise.

I've also learned...

1. My eyes can still get misty when I hear these stories. It's good to cry sometimes.
2. God is doing amazing work here. We are blown away.
3. Students continue to amaze me. You wouldn't believe what I've seen and heard this week.
4. I love being a student pastor.
5. If it weren't for Christ followers, Bay St Louis wouldn't be recovered. That's what believers and non believers tell us.

We are heading out to New Orleans for dinner tonight at Deanies. We are stoked. It's been an amazing week.
